I’ve heard of the Lip Bar but I’ve never actually tried their products. This vegan formula lipliner has a crayon like texture– it’s very creamy and goes on pretty thickly with minimal pressure. It was actually a little too dark for the blue toned reds I normally wear but provided a lot of definition when used as shading. This is a really great pencil!
Straight Lovin’
This matte liner is the best, most natural color I have ever used. It looks brown on the stick, but mauve on my lips. Very pleased with this item and will purchase again. No odor, applies very smooth, no feathering. Love it.
Smooth liner with staying power
This is a pretty great lip liner. I subscribe to several beauty boxes so I’ve tried a LOT of liners and often they drag your skin if they’re good enough to stay on through a cup of coffee, or if they’re smooth they come off at the first sip of a beverage. This is a smooth, easy to apply liner that feels good on my lips but also has staying power. I swatched it in the pic, let it dry about 30 secs, then rubbed it fairly hard with a paper towel; fading and transfer were minimal. It didn’t transfer to my white coffee cup either (just a trace).
I like the color, though it’s definitely more of an orange undertone than I’m used to. I prefer blue-based colors since they go best with my skin but this looks pretty good with nude lipstick (I just wouldn’t wear it on its own with gloss as I do many liners because of the undertones). I would definitely try this brand in other colors.
This isn’t a cheap lipliner but it’s not super expensive, either. My favorite brand goes for $20, so this is a better price and liners last a long time for me.
