My new Prius Prime came with standard 120v charger, resulting in over 5 hours charge time. Researched various options and selected Mustart updated 32 amp unit. Really impressed by the solid build quality. Had an electrician extend my outlet from back to front of garage for easy access. Also added a switch so can turn off power to unit when not using.

I bought the 40 amps, 240v, even though my current car doesn't accept that much, but I figured the price difference was small and I may as well be ready for the next car. I'm pulling between 7.4 and 7.6kw and I'm very happy with it. I used a regular level 1 charger for 3 years with my previous car, so this is a nice upgrade.

Solid construction, correct readings and really solid quality for the price. Also love the IP rating for the handle puts me at ease when a little moisture is present. Once I install a permanent Level 2 at home, this will become my portable unit for travelling. In the meantime, I'll keep it mounted with the included brackets.

Since I am living in a condo townhouse, my breaker can't support higher ampage, so I can only install a NEMA 14-30 outlet. I had a 16 AMP charger for my Honda Clarity, it charges at 3.8kwh. It was good enough to charge my Clarity from empty to full under 6 hours. With this new charger, my charge rate is close to 6kwh now, similar to those Chargepoint stations. I have been using it for a couple weeks now, so far so good.

Only my second day of use. Charges my 2015 Leaf from 20 pourcents to 100 pourcents in about 3 hours. Don't forget to check what is the maximum amps that your car can take, the charger will adapt it, but do not buy a charger too strong for nothing and save a bit of money...
The charger indicates charge rate, amp rate, time, temperature and quantity charged. Very nice feature. Very nice quality! Thanks
